Antswisa Institute for Black Economic maximizer and competitiveness is a research institute and think tank dedicated to advancing racial equity and inclusive growth in the South African Capital Markets. We collaborate with stakeholders and leaders across the private, public, and social sectors to advance economic opportunity for Black individuals and communities and create a more inclusive economy and society.

Future Women Leaders
Antswisa Women’s Initiative is not only an employee resource group supporting gender inclusion. It drives innovative programs across the firm focused on developing women to their full potential, fostering connectivity across businesses, encouraging mentorship and helping shape our women’s ascending to executive positions and recruiting strategy. The Initiative’s activities include a C-suite speaker series, a quarterly newsletter, networking events and service opportunities.

Youth Entrepreneurship Monitor
Abraham Lincoln famously said that ‘the best way to predict your future is to create it’. Nowadays, these words resonate louder than ever, as massive unemployment rates in Africa call for young people to take their future in their hands and invent their jobs upon graduation. Entrepreneurship, broadly described as the act of creating something out of nothing, can be a solution to the African challenge of youth unemployment, and a significant source of much-needed job creation. More so, youth entrepreneurship can be a celebration of young people’s creativity and technological aptitude, and a powerful tool for youth empowerment. Our entrepreneurial initiatives champion out of the ordinary doers; those with the potential to make a sustainable positive change in South Africa. We continue to foster an entrepreneurial spirit; we believe it’s vital to develop entrepreneurs whose success will create opportunity for economic participation for more South Africans. Our entrepreneurial initiatives include: Startup Academy Startup Academy is a practical online entrepreneurship learning programme. It offers entrepreneurs a mentors and coaches who guides them, expert one-on-one mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs, and the opportunity to pitch for prize funding.
